AI Motion Graphics Glossary
Plain-English explanations for the terms that appear across Vibe-Motion tools, prompt workflows, and programmatic video systems.

Remotion
Remotion is an open-source framework for creating videos with React and TypeScript. In Vibe-Motion workflows, it matters because code-generated animation can render crisp text, reusable layouts, charts, and precise timing instead of relying only on pixel prediction.
Kinetic Typography
Kinetic typography is animated text. Letters, words, or phrases move, fade, scale, bounce, or reveal in sync with a message. It is common in title cards, quotes, social hooks, lyric-style videos, and explainer sequences.
Motion Graphics
Motion graphics are animated design elements such as text, icons, charts, shapes, logos, and interface mockups. They usually explain, promote, or clarify ideas rather than capture live-action footage.
AI Video
AI video is a broad category for generating or editing video with artificial intelligence. Some tools generate pixels directly from prompts, while Vibe-Motion-style workflows generate structured animation code for sharper text and more predictable edits.
4K Export
4K export usually means rendering video at 3840 by 2160 pixels. It is useful for professional presentations, large displays, high-quality YouTube uploads, and client delivery where crisp typography and detail matter.
Keyframes
Keyframes define important moments in an animation, such as where an element starts and ends. AI motion tools can generate keyframe-like timing from natural language prompts such as "fade in over 0.8 seconds, hold, then slide out."
Easing
Easing controls how motion accelerates or slows down. Ease-out feels smooth as an element settles into place, ease-in starts slowly then speeds up, and elastic easing creates a bounce or overshoot.
Aspect Ratio
Aspect ratio describes the shape of the frame. Common examples are 16:9 for YouTube and presentations, 9:16 for vertical short video, and 1:1 for square social posts.
Turn These Terms Into Better Prompts
Use exact terms like easing, aspect ratio, kinetic typography, and 4K export when you describe the animation you want. Specific language gives AI motion tools less room to guess.
